KingKL Mould has recently completed and delivered a large-scale die-casting mould project for structural components used in new energy vehicles (NEVs), marking another breakthrough in the company’s precision tooling capabilities. The project was developed for a leading Tier-1 automotive supplier in China. With a tool size exceeding 1800mm, the design phase took only 40 days, and functional testing was completed in just 2 weeks, meeting the client's first-shot success rate requirements.
The mould integrates the globally recognized DME cooling system along with KingKL’s proprietary thermal flow control design, significantly improving cooling efficiency and dimensional stability. During production, advanced 5-axis CNC machining and deep-hole drilling systems were utilized to ensure high-precision assembly and long service life.
KingKL’s automotive tooling capabilities now cover battery trays, structural parts, and lamp brackets, among others. The company also offers a complete range of downstream services, including surface finishing, plating, painting, and anodizing — all under one roof.
